Construction Junior Project Manager (Client Side)

Construction Project management consultancy working with large commercial and residential projects throughout greater Dublin area. Applicants will be degree qualified with at least 2 years’ experience with a contractor or consultant.
Duties

Ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with legal requirements

Quality assurance
-
Assisting Project Managers with budgets, monitoring costs, through liaison with the Cost Management Team
-
Dealing with the appointment of Contractors
-
Assisting in management of project delivery
-
Assisting with quality, programme and budget
-
Managing the communications with all stakeholders, sub-contractors
-
Managing risks
-
Assist the project manager in managing all contractual requirements including on-site project management

Assisting with Document management.

Ensuring Health & Safety strategy is implemented

On-going reporting progress of projects

Standing in for the Project Manager from time to time at various meetings
-
Coordinate meeting with key stakeholders
-
Overall responsibility for project delivery rests with the Project Manager, assisting in with the project delivery and gradually taking control of project delivery

Manage information flow
-
Plan for potential delays, update and review project scope, take part in design updates
-
It is expected that the Junior Project Manager will progress to Project Manager over time.
