Construction Junior Project Manager (Client Side)

​

Construction Project management consultancy working with large commercial and residential projects throughout greater Dublin area.  Applicants will be degree qualified with at least 2 years’ experience with a contractor or consultant.

Duties

  • Ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with legal requirements

  • Quality assurance

  • Assisting Project Managers with budgets, monitoring costs, through liaison with the Cost Management Team

  • Dealing with the appointment of Contractors

  • Assisting in management of project delivery

  • Assisting with quality, programme and budget

  • Managing the communications with all stakeholders, sub-contractors

  • Managing risks

  • Assist the project manager in managing all contractual requirements including on-site project management

  • Assisting with Document management.

  • Ensuring Health & Safety strategy is implemented

  • On-going reporting progress of projects

  • Standing in for the Project Manager from time to time at various meetings

  • Coordinate meeting with key stakeholders

  • Overall responsibility for project delivery rests with the Project Manager, assisting in with the project delivery and gradually taking control of project delivery

  • Manage information flow

  • Plan for potential delays, update and review project scope, take part in design updates

  • It is expected that the Junior Project Manager will progress to Project Manager over time.
