
Construction Site Manager
Construction Site Manager reporting to the Project Manager and helping him with overall responsibility for project delivery on time, within budget, finished to the highest standards and implemented within strict Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental parameters. Experience dealing with commercial projects from design to completion. Must have proven ability to deal with project program planning and financials.
Excellent interpersonal skills essential with good site based knowledge and experience on a broad range of projects in the construction sector. Proven track record planning and coordinating sub-contractors. Experience with Reinforced concrete and Steel structure buildings on projects up to €30m.
Principle Duties & Accountabilities

Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations

Ensure that work is done safely, on time and within budget

Responsible for Quality

Monitor and report progress

Oversee delivery of materials

Oversee Health & Safety

Keep in close contact with members of their site team

Ensure that work complies with building regulations and other legal requirements

Keep the client updated regularly on progress

Act as the first point of contact for members of the public and sub-contractors

Must be technically competent and able to work to project milestones and deliverables.

Responsible for resolution of problems

Must be capable of representing the company professionally with the client and all associated external construction professionals, utility companies and government agencies.
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications

Professional Construction qualification or Trades background with relevant experience

Main contractor experience on large-scale projects.

Senior Management experience required.

Computer literate.

Adaptable and capable of making decisions.

Strong people management skills.

Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
